Abstract
Biohacking is an activity that transforms existing life by utilizing biometric information centered on DNA information. Those who do this are called bio-hackers. In this paper, I would like to focus on the discussion of DIY biohacking. As shown in the emphasis of ¡®DIY¡¯, it can be seen that the object of transformation in the activity is his/her self. This is why the ethical implications of DIY biohacking should be examined. For this, I would like to focus on John Stuart Mill¡¯s autonomy. His concept of autonomy can be said to have the characteristics of relational autonomy. With that, individuals who implements DIY biohacking will be able to promote his/her moral development and social development together.
